I'm Sue Campbell, a freelance writer, journalist, blogger and copywriter based in Portland, Oregon, land of the extremely free.

My background includes growing up on the midwestern tundra, a string of low paying services jobs that taught me how the world works, a move across country with no money and no prospects, falling in love with the Pacific Northwest, stumbling into a well paying job in government and deliberately turning my back on it to write.

It was the right thing to do.
